MALVERN HILLS RIDING CLUB

Welcome to the website for the Malvern Hills Riding Club. We are a medium sized Club and cater for all needs and abilities. We have approximately 90 members and are based within the area of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. We are affiliated to the BHS within Area 18.

The Club was born 25 years ago and when I have some more history from its progress into what it is today I shall write a bit more, so watch this space!........ (Editor)

The Club has a lot of competitive members and we like to try and support a number of the BHS Area events as well as the local Mercian Riding Club team events. (Please click on the team page link for further information)

Club members reach the British Riding Clubs National Championships

British Riding Clubs National Championships held on Saturday 6th September 2008 at Lincoln, where Malvern qualified for the Open Show Jumping Competition with members Cindie Bunce, Nicola Jones, Victoria Gregg and Mary Biscoe representing the Club finished an overall 7th position.  Jumping a long course in torrential downpours  each rider rode brilliantly.  Nicola Jones finished in overall 10th position as an individual.  Thank you team for taking part, a credit to the Club.

Watch this space for the Blenheim experience on Thursday 11th September, where the above four riders will again be representing the Club in an Invitation Only combined Show Jumping and Cross Country Competition held in the grounds of Blenheim Palace.  We wish them luck
